McDermott Will & Emery advised Tiller Systems, the French nugget in connected checkout and software solutions for restaurants and merchants, on its sale to SumUp, one of the major new players in online payment.

Founded in 2014, Tiller Systems has established an ecosystem of solutions that help merchants manage their business in real time and remotely. Its comprehensive solution addresses online or on-site order taking, payment, delivery, reservations, inventory management, loyalty, and sales and cost analysis. Tiller Systems currently supports more than 9,000 retailers and has offices in France, Spain and Italy.
