Six McDermott Lawyers Selected to Serve on Law360’s 2024 Editorial Boards

March 20 , 2024 – International law firm McDermott Will & Emery is pleased to announce six lawyers have been selected to serve on Law360’s 2024 editorial boards. Each will offer feedback on news coverage and provide expert insight on how best to shape future coverage.

  • Kristin Going focuses her practice on commercial bankruptcy and insolvency matters, creditors’ rights, out-of-court workouts and restructurings and financial services litigation. She is also the co-managing partner of the Firm’s New York office and a member of the Firm-wide Management Committee. Kristin will join Law360’s 2024 Bankruptcy Editorial Advisory Board.
  • Sarah Hogarth is a partner in the Firm’s Supreme Court & Appellate Litigation and Government & Regulatory Litigation practices. She briefs and argues appeals and critical motions, litigates affirmative cases challenging federal and state government action and advises on legal strategy and dispositive motions in trial courts or before administrative tribunals. She will join Law360’s 2024 Appellate Editorial Advisory Board.
  • Gregory Metz focuses on complex business transactions and regularly works with private equity clients on mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, debt and equity restructurings and divestitures. He is also a co-head of the Firm’s Private Equity Practice Group and co-head of the Chicago office Transactions Practice Group. Gregory will re-join Law360’s 2024 Private Equity Editorial Advisory Board after serving on the 2023 Board.
  • Caroline Ngo advises publicly traded companies on international tax planning, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, application of bilateral income tax treaties, and other international tax matters. Caroline is also the co-head of the Firm’s International Tax Affinity Group.  She will join Law360’s 2024 Tax Authority International Editorial Advisory Board.
  • Marjorie Soto Garcia focuses her practice on providing strategic advice to clients in labor union and organizing matters, single plaintiff and class action employment litigation and workplace compliance. Marjorie will join Law360’s 2024 Employment Authority Labor Editorial Advisory Board.
  • Dan Woodard represents private and public companies in all aspects of public and private securities offerings, public company reporting and disclosure compliance and stock exchange-listing compliance. He also advises fintech companies with regard to the application of securities laws to blockchain and cryptocurrency assets. He will join Law360’s 2024 Capital Markets Editorial Advisory Board.
