Overview
Dr. Laura Stammwitz advises and represents companies in antitrust investigations and merger control, including the coordination of cross-border proceedings, for about 10 years. She has further extensive experience in providing compliance advice. She focuses her practice on many industries, including the food industry, the packaging industry and the healthcare sector.
She regularly publishes on current developments in antitrust law.
Laura previously worked for an American and a British law firm.

- Contentserv Group and its majority shareholder Investcorp on the acquisition of the French software company Shoppingfeed
- VR Equitypartner (VREP) on the acquisition of a significant minority stake in Midoco Holding GmbH
- Main Capital Partners and the further shareholders on the sale of their respective stakes in the GBTEC group including GBTEC Software AG (“GBTEC”) to global investment firm Carlyle
- Elos Medtech on its acquisition of Klingel Medical Group with respect to merger control and foreign investment control proceedings related to the medtech market
- Belden Inc., a supplier of network infrastructure products, on its acquisition of Sichert Group with respect to merger control proceedings
- Equistone Partners Europe on its sale of Amadys, a leading system integrator of end-to-end connectivity solutions, with respect to EU merger control and foreign direct investment control proceedings
- An internationally active manufacturer of metal packaging in antitrust proceedings before the German Federal Cartel Office and the EU Commission*
- A leading equity investor in Europe in numerous merger control proceedings before the EU Commission, the German Federal Cartel Office and other national authorities*
- An internationally active food group in the context of several takeovers before the German Federal Cartel Office and the European Commission as well as other national authorities*
- A packaging manufacturer in the appeal proceedings before the European General Court on the occasion of the EU antitrust proceedings “Food Packaging*
