Maxime Delabarre* focuses his practice on complex, cross-border litigations, international arbitration, and public international law. He has a wealth of experience in both international commercial and investment arbitrations, with a notable emphasis on diverse sectors such as energy and natural resources, defense, aeronautics, construction, and intellectual property.

Maxime advises clients, including sovereign states, state-owned entities, and multinational corporations, in arbitration proceedings under the rules of major institutions, including those of the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (SCC), and in pure ad hoc arbitration proceedings.

  • Advising a Balkan State and two government-owned entities in relation to a consolidated LCIA arbitration regarding a contract dispute in connection with an investment in the tourism sector

  • Advising a group of investors in relation to a USD 500+ million arbitration brought against an eastern-European State under a Bilateral Investment Treaty
