Overview
Jarrett Szczesny focuses his practice on representing private equity and other investment funds and privately held companies in connection with domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, venture capital investments, restructurings and other transactions. He provides general corporate counseling to portfolio companies and other clients on matters such as corporate governance, employment, financing and incentive equity. Jarrett’s transactional experience spans a variety of industries, including private equity, health care services and manufacturing.

- Assisted WindRose Health Investors with the sale of Medical Knowledge Group to Court Square Capital Partners; the acquisition of Trumpet Behavioral Health and its subsequent combination with BlueSprig Pediatrics, a KKR portfolio company; the acquisition of Lykan Bioscience and its subsequent combination with RoslinCT, a GHO Capital portfolio company; the sale of Vital Decisions to Evolent Health; its investment in Thirdwave RX; and its majority control investments in Veristat, RevHealth, StateServ, Workplace Options, Collaborative Imaging, BPD Advertising, CardioOne and MyndYou
- Assisted Amulet Capital Partners with its control investment in Unlock Health, a healthcare marketing and advertising organization, along with numerous add-on transactions
- Assisted Enhanced Healthcare Partners with its sale of SCA Pharma to The Vistria Group and Excellere Partners and its sale of Syft to Global Healthcare Exchange, a publicly traded company
- Represented AUA Private Equity Partners in its acquisition of Trufood Manufacturing and subsequent sale to Mubadala Capital; its acquisition of Water Lilies Food and subsequent sale to Blue Point Capital Partners; the acquisition of Indulge Desserts Holdings and subsequent sale to Emmi Group, a publicly listed corporation; and its majority control investments in Weaver Popcorn, Epi Breads and Raymundos Food Group
- Represented Pritzker Private Capital in various transactions involving its KabaFusion, PLZ Corp. and aurorium platforms
- Represented a leading private equity firm in investments involving its platform company, a physician-lead administrative services organization
- Assisted Pouschine Cook Capital Management with its investment in Curexa Pharmacy, a specialty compounding pharmacy
- Assisted Calera Capital with its investment in Bay State Physical Therapy, a leading physical therapy services provider in the Northeast
- Assisted Rock Island Capital with the sale of its portfolio company, Environmental Recovery Corporation, a waste management services organization, to VLS Environmental Solutions (formerly known as VLS Recovery Services), a portfolio company of Aurora Capital Partners, and the sale of Baker Manufacturing Company to Blue Sage Capital
- Assisted H.I.G. Growth Partners with its sale of Telescope, a provider of real-time audience engagement solutions for live events, to Bally’s Corporation
- Represented H.I.G. Capital in various add-on transactions and the eventual sale of ACG Materials, a manufacturer of infrastructure-related products, to Arcosa
- Represented Connor Manufacturing, a producer of electronic and fiberoptic connectors, in its sale to Amphenol Corporation
- Represented American Medical Technologists, a provider of critical care supplies, in its sale to One Equity Partners and The Silverfern Group
