Frankfurt, May, 2023 – McDermott Will & Emery has advised GWS Gesellschaft für Warenwirtschafts-Systeme mbH (GWS Group) on the acquisition of all shares in connectiv! eSolutions GmbH. Both companies have already been working together since 2018.
GWS Group, founded in 1992, is a leading provider of IT solutions for association-oriented retail and service companies in the German-speaking countries. The group employs more than 570 people at its locations in Muenster, Munich, Nuremberg, Leonberg, Isernhagen, Essen and Oldenburg.
connectiv! eSolutions GmbH, headquartered in Lingen, Germany, has been offering digital commerce solutions, especially for small and medium-sized businesses, since 1998.
McDermott partner Michael Cziesla and team have been advising the GWS Group on transactions in the technology sector for many years.
