Dr. Alexander Hoppe focuses his practice on corporate law and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions.
Following his first state exam, Alexander worked as a legal research assistant at the University of Münster at the Institute for International Business Law, where he received a doctorate with a thesis in the field of corporate law. In addition, Alexander lectured civil law at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce Nord Westfalen.
Prior to joining McDermott, Alexander spent his legal traineeship in Düsseldorf, Copenhagen and New York at a number of notable institutions, including stages at a German Embassy and the Düsseldorf office of a highly reputable international law firm.
