Overview


Rolf has over 20 years’ experience in advising international clients on cross border and national projects including corporate acquisitions and divestitures and joint ventures.

Rolf has extensive experience in the fields of cross-border M&A, PE transactions, corporate governance and compliance. As part of the firm’s global environmental, social and governance (ESG) practice, he has a particular focus on governance aspects of ESG. He frequently advises executive boards in the context of company crisis (inter alia governmental investigations, internal investigations), and provides strategic advice on compliance management systems.

Rolf’s practice spans the full circle of compliance related legislation, including risk assessment, supply chain management (in particular associated with the German Supply Chain Act), due diligence as well as internal investigations.

Results


  • Adaptation of the global compliance management system of an automotive supplier with regards to the Corporate Liability Act*
  • Advised an international investment company on corporate governance issues, especially in connection with the integration of portfolio acquisitions*
  • Advised the sale of a South African manufacturing plant to an OEM*
  • Advised a Swiss chemical group on the improvement of their compliance management system in Germany as well as the international integration*
