Louis M. Rundio, Jr., focuses his practice extensively in the area of hazardous substance liability. Louis regularly represents major manufacturers in their dealings with federal, state and local environmental authorities in the areas of permit applications, compliance with administrative regulations, enforcement proceedings and environmental litigation.
Louis’ substantial trial experience in general commercial and environmental matters adds a vital dimension to the difficult task of solving acute and often complicated environmental problems. He also has participated in numerous hazardous waste cleanup cases, negotiated significant and innovative settlements in major groundwater pollution suits, and worked extensively with engineers, geologist, toxicologists and others in technical scientific disciplines.
Louis’ hazardous substance liability practice includes the defense of claims for personal injuries due to exposure to chemical substances. Such toxic tort cases are on the cutting edge of the development of product liability law.
