FRANKFURT – OCTOBER 8, 2021 – McDermott Will & Emery advised Joh. Berenberg, Gossler & Co. KG as, Sole Global Coordinator and Sole Bookrunner, on a subscription rights capital increase of Borussia Dortmund GmbH & Co. Kommanditgesellschaft auf Aktien. As part of the transaction, Borussia Dortmund issued 18.4 million of new shares at a price per share of €4.70 each generating total issue proceeds of €86.5m. The placement of the capital increase was secured by means of subscription and investment agreements concluded with existing shareholders and investors as well as by a backstop commitment provided by Berenberg.
