|

Overview

Timothy Walsh, Darren Azman and Michael Galen wrote this bylined article relating to the rehabilitation proceeding of South Korea’s Hanjin Shipping. Although several of the company’s ships were arrested by creditors, the authors wrote, “Hanjin believed (incorrectly) that the Korean proceeding would protect its ships from further arrest actions in Korea. Yet, Hanjin’s ships located outside of Korea remained subject to potential arrest actions under the maritime laws of other countries.”
