John Robert - McDermott Will & Emery

Overview


John focuses his practice on corporate and international tax issues. He has substantial experience in structuring corporate mergers and dispositions, spin-offs, liquidations, and cross-border transfers and has advised on number high-profile M&A transactions.  John regularly assists his clients with negotiating, documenting, facilitating and consummating transactions involving partnerships, corporations, and off-shore entities. He also represents clients before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), handling audits and obtaining tax rulings.

While in law school, John was a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Board and served as a faculty research assistant.
