McDermott’s Michael Bruno and Christopher Braham recognized as Law360 Rising Stars

Overview

July 21, 2025 – International law firm McDermott Will & Emery is pleased to announce that Michael Bruno and Christopher Braham have been named among Law360’s 2025 Rising Stars, recognized for their contributions in the areas of Tax and Employment law, respectively.

Michael focuses his practice on advising multinational companies, funds, and entrepreneurial families on sophisticated US and international tax planning and transactions. He has written numerous articles on international tax planning and frequently submits comments on statutory & regulatory promulgations. As a strong proponent for pro bono legal services, Michael founded the Transactional Equal Justice Program with Legal Services of Greater Miami, which offers free legal advice to non-profits and low-to-moderate income small business owners, helping them to launch a business.

Focusing his practice on employment litigation and counseling, Christopher represents employers in all stages of employment litigation, including in putative class action, single and multi-plaintiff lawsuits concerning claims for meal and rest period violations, failure to pay wages and bonuses, off-the-clock work, misclassification, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, and misappropriation of trade secrets. As a co-lead of McDermott’s Pay Equity, DEI, and Discrimination Subgroup, Christopher helps global employers comply with the evolving legal frameworks that govern pay equity and takes a proactive approach to help his clients navigate sensitive allegations of workplace harassment and discrimination.

Law360’s Rising Stars series recognizes lawyers under 40 whose legal accomplishments within their respective disciplines transcend their age. You can view the full list of honorees here.
