Overview

International law firm McDermott Will & Schulte represented BTG Pactual Strategic Capital (Strat Cap), which is affiliated with the largest investment bank in Latin America with a market capitalization of about $30 billion, in the sale of its portfolio company, Legent Heath (a/k/a/ PSN Affiliates), a leading operator of orthopedic and spine surgical facilities, to a new joint venture owned by Hospital for Special Surgery (HHS) and General Atlantic.

Through this acquisition HHS, the nation’s top-ranked orthopedic hospital, and General Atlantic, a leading global investor, will create a new, independently operated national platform of ambulatory surgery centers and surgical hospitals dedicated to delivering advanced, patient-centered orthopedic, and spine outpatient care.

The McDermott team was led by Danielle Golino, Andrea Zazulia, and Sarah Reis.
