Steven (Steve) T. Knipfelberg advises cryptocurrency and other digital asset, FinTech, and blockchain companies on complex regulatory, enforcement, and litigation matters. As a member of the industry’s only crypto-exclusive team whose lawyers devote 100% of their time to crypto-related matters, Steve combines deep regulatory knowledge with prior in-house leadership experience to deliver practical, business-focused advice.
Steve has significant experience counseling on development and launch strategies for compliant, scalable digital asset and trading products across more than 180 jurisdictions. He regularly guides clients through matters involving US and international regulators and helps them navigate rapidly evolving regulatory frameworks affecting digital assets. Steve also advises boards and senior management on governance and compliance matters, licensing strategies, and regulatory examinations, and represents clients in high-stakes regulatory investigations, litigations, and arbitrations worldwide.
