Sarah Walters, who as former head of the federal prosecutor’s economic crimes unit supervised new US Attorney for Massachusetts Andrew Lelling, noted that Lelling is “open to hearing all sides” of criminal matters before indictment. “When we discussed cases, we discussed what was the just result. That was part of the conversation as it should be in every prosecutorial decision,” Ms. Walters said.
