Christian Krohs, accompanied by associates Patryk Wcislo and Carina Kant, joined McDermott as Düsseldorf office partner to establish the Firm’s antitrust practice in Germany. “McDermott is developing strongly in the EU, so now seems like an ideal time to jump in,” Mr. Krohs said of his move. “There is a good antitrust practice in Brussels and Paris, but it is an important time to strengthen in Germany. McDermott and I both believe that it is necessary to have a physical presence in Germany, so as to serve clients who want the option to directly approach the firm outside of Brussels.”
