Kathleen Quinn commented during a recent event on a California measure to extend its False Claims Act to tax claims. “Members of our firm are working with the bar association to urge California to reconsider this and not to expand their False Claims Act to tax actions, but we’re hearing that it’s likely going to be passed,” Quinn said. “California will be the next state where we see all these crazy cases.”
