Tracy Gomes* advises Firm clients on a range of tax matters relating to international transfer pricing and competent authority proceedings, as well as the valuation of intellectual property (IP), business enterprises and financial products. He has particular experience in the valuation of technology and brand intangibles.
Tracy was the founder of Intellectual Property Economics, an independent IP and transfer pricing valuation firm. He has also served as an economist for KPMG and was a senior economist in the Advance Pricing Agreement Program of the Internal Revenue Service.
Tracy is the author or co-author of numerous articles on international tax, pricing agreement and valuation issues. A regular speaker before legal and industry organizations, he has participated on numerous panels and in webcasts covering emerging tax issues, and has served as a guest lecturer for the International Taxation Academy of the Ministry of Finance Training in Taipei, Taiwan.
