Richard Call presented “Tax Perspectives on a Business Transaction” at this Boston Bar Association, Tax Section series.

The Tax Section presented a simple business transaction and analyze it from five different tax law perspectives: federal income, ERISA, international, state and local, and gift and estate. Discussion of the impact of likely tax reform measures was included, as applicable. The program is useful for tax lawyers and for non-tax lawyers who want to know when to call a tax lawyer for help.
