Robert J. Cordy will present “The Interdependent Relationship Between an Independent Judiciary and a Free Press – Lesson from Abroad” at the Brandeis University Lunch and Learn Luncheon.

Justice Cordy is the Chair of the Supreme Judicial Court Rules Committee, Co-Chair of the Court’s Judiciary-Media Committee, and serves on the Committee overseeing Capital Planning for the Judicial system. He has worked with judges from Mexico, Russia, China, Kosovo, Turkey, Uzbekistan, and other countries on issues relating to Judicial Ethics, rule of law principles, and the American Judicial system. In 2013, he was invited to join the Judicial Advisory Board of the American Society of International Law, chaired by United States Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
