These regulations establish the criteria for any organization to transfer personal data between Brazil and other countries or international organizations with an adequate level of data protection.

McDermott’s global privacy & cybersecurity team had the pleasure of hosting this webinar with Nuria López, a personal data protection lawyer from the Daniel firm in Brazil. Discussion topics included:

  • ANPD and its international context
  • Adequacy decisions
  • Standard contractual clauses and specific clauses
  • Binding corporate rules
  • Participation in the public consultation
