Numerous provisions of the No Surprises Act, legislation that prohibits surprise medical bills and requires broader price transparency requirements in certain contexts, become effective January 1, 2022. This rapidly approaching effective date raises a host of questions and challenges for hospitals and health systems impacted by the Act and the interim final rules implementing it.
