The programme centered on the fundamentals of creating various types of trusts including how to draft the trust and when specific trusts are appropriate based on a client’s needs and goals. The program covered Irrevocable Medicaid Income Only Trusts, Special Needs Trusts, Pet Trusts, QTIP (Marital Deduction Trusts), Credit Shelter Trusts, Grantor Trusts and Life Insurance Trusts, among others. This program was designed for newly admitted attorneys, those new to estate and long-term care planning, or practitioners who want a refresher on trusts.
