Overview
Arianne Plasencia was a speaker at the 2023 Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) LatAm Conference in Bogota, Columbia. The annual conference brings together lawyers, accounting professionals, bankers and trust, estate and investment advisors related to the planning, structuring and management of wealth in Latin America. Arianne presented on the panel, “The Corporate Transparency Act (USA) – What It Means for You,” on September 7, which discussed practical examples of the application of the new rules requiring disclosure of beneficiaries in the US.
