The Biden Labor Platform | The First 100 Days and More

Overview

Before the 2020 election, then Presidential candidate Joe Biden vowed to be the “strongest labor president you have ever had.” Although he has been in office less than 100 days, President Biden shows every sign of living up to his campaign promise. The Protecting the Right to Organize Act (PRO Act) is the single legislative initiative critical to the Biden labor platform, impacting both union and non-union employers.

This webinar series will discuss the potential significant labor policy changes impacting employees and independent contractors under the Biden Administration. Attendees will leave with practical solutions all employers can implement now in anticipation of the changing landscape.

During the first webinar, McDermott’s labor team will take a deep dive into the PRO Act.

Discussion topics include:

  • The PRO Act’s sweeping effect on both the union and non-union employer landscape
  • The evolving makeup and anticipated activism at the National Labor Relations Board
