Leigh-Alexandra Basha, called “a top industry figure,” has become a McDermott partner and head of the new Washington, DC, private client group. Ms. Basha, formerly head of a similar practice at another major firm, works with wealthy and international clients on estate and trust administration, family wealth preservation, tax compliance, business succession planning, Carol Harrington, McDermott’s global private client practice leader, noted that Washington is “an increasingly sophisticated hub for business” to support the practice.
