Frankfurt a. M., January 13, 2022 – International law firm McDermott Will & Emery advised software investor Main Capital Partners on the acquisition of FormSolutions GmbH by machgruppe.
machgruppe was formed in 2021 through the merger of MACH AG and DATA-PLAN Computer Consulting GmbH. MACH AG, an e-government software and consulting company based in Lübeck, has been a portfolio company of Main Capital since 2020.
FormSolutions GmbH, headquartered in Karlsruhe, has been supporting German public authorities with digitalization of their application processes for over 20 years.
Main Capital Partners is a leading software investor in Benelux, DACH and Scandinavia with over €2.2 billion in assets under management (as of October 2021). Main has invested in more than 120 software companies to date.
The McDermott team advising on the transaction has deep experience in software and technology matters and previously advised Main Capital on both the acquisition of MACH AG and its acquisition of DATA-PLAN Computer Consulting GmbH.
Simultaneously, the McDermott team led by partner Dustin Schwerdtfeger advised Main Capital in connection with the acquisition financing.
