Jean-Marc Tirard, formerly a partner in a Paris-based boutique law firm, has joined McDermott’s international private client practice in London. David Adler, who had worked in the US and Swiss offices of another European firm, joined the practice as a partner in January. Carol Harrington said that the additions show McDermott is “pursuing a strategy of expansion” in London,” and Henry Christensen added that having “a strong practice for international private clients” in both London and New York is necessary to succeed in the market.
