Overview
Andrew Kummer advises clients on complex structured finance and derivatives transactions, with a particular focus on asset-based lending, securitizations, trade receivables finance, and bespoke capital markets instruments. His practice spans a wide range of financial products and structures, including structured notes, warehouse facilities, forward flow arrangements, and receivables purchases and sales. He also frequently advises clients on interest rate, deal contingent, foreign exchange, and other bespoke hedging transactions, including related regulatory considerations under the Dodd-Frank Act and other financial reforms.
Andrew brings a commercially pragmatic approach to advising financial institutions, asset managers, private investment firms, and more across jurisdictions. He also represents various clients on physical and financial commodity transactions, including intermediation arrangements, inventory financing and monetization, and master agreements for energy markets.
