Overview
Magali Duque focuses her practice on cryptocurrency, blockchain, and bankruptcy litigation matters. She has experience analyzing US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) decisions to advise corporate clients of regulatory risks for crypto token issuances, researching complex legal issues in major crypto exchange bankruptcy cases, and conducting internal investigations. Magali is a member of the industry’s only crypto-exclusive team whose members spend 100% of their time on crypto-related matters.
Prior to joining the Firm, Magali served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Elizabeth S. Stong of the US Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of New York. During law school, Magali was the online managing editor of the University of Pennsylvania Law Review, and a member of Penn Law’s Student Government. She also served on the Faculty Appointments Committee, the Black Law Students Association, and the Penn Law Women’s Association.
