Jenny Lee is a results-driven litigator who focuses her complex commercial litigation practice on high-stakes securities, antitrust, and contract disputes. She brings deep trial experience and strategic insight to her representation of Fortune 500 companies and executives at trial, on appeal, and in arbitration.
Clients spanning industries such as healthcare, consumer products, retail, beverage, aviation, and real estate rely on Jenny’s clear risk assessments, courtroom skills, and ability to cut through complexity. She successfully manages trial teams, leads discovery strategy, and delivers favorable results in high-profile trademark and breach of contract disputes, securities class actions, shareholder derivative actions, and mergers and acquisitions litigation. As a trusted advisor to executive teams, in-house legal counsel, boards of directors, and investment professionals, Jenny guides major corporations through significant legal and operational challenges.

While in law school, Jenny gained valuable experience as a judicial extern to the Honorable Raymond J. Lohier Jr. of the US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and to the Honorable Katherine B. Forrest of the US District Court for the Southern District of New York.

- Achieved a unanimous jury verdict, which was affirmed in full by the US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, for a leading international beer, wine, and spirits producer after a two-week trial in a breach of contract and trademark infringement lawsuit in New York federal court*
- Achieved a favorable settlement for an e-commerce company and certain of its current and former directors in securities class action litigation in New York arising out of the company’s 2020 initial public offering*
- Defended a multinational pharmaceutical company in a putative class action litigation in New Jersey federal court alleging an anticompetitive reverse payment arising out of a patent litigation settlement concerning a cholesterol drug*
- Defended a multinational pharmaceutical company in a putative class action litigation in New Jersey federal court alleging an anticompetitive reverse payment arising out of a patent litigation settlement concerning an antidepressant drug*
- Defended a leading natural gas company and certain officers and directors in a consolidated putative securities class action, related individual securities fraud lawsuits, and shareholder derivative actions filed in Pennsylvania federal and state courts arising out of the client’s $6.7 billion acquisition of an energy company*
- Defended the nation’s largest independent real estate brokerage against a lawsuit brought by an individual claiming to be the client’s founder and seeking more than $200 million in founders’ equity*
- Achieved a favorable settlement on behalf of a global building products manufacturer and certain executives in purported securities class action litigation filed in Virginia federal court arising from price-fixing allegations and related lawsuits*
- Secured a dismissal with prejudice of a class action litigation filed in New York federal court against a global packaging solutions company and a competitor arising from the $6.8 billion acquisition of the competitor; related Missouri state court litigation was also dismissed*
- Secured a favorable settlement on the eve of trial on behalf of the Special Committee of the Board of Directors of a real estate investment trust in “material adverse change” litigation related to the attempted termination by a competitor of its $9.8 billion acquisition of the real estate investment trust*
- Represented an industrial goods and metal fabrication company in federal securities litigation in the US District Court for the District of Oregon arising out of the company’s acquisition*
- Represented a cable company in antitrust litigation relating to the acquisition of the company by a telecommunications company in the US District Court for the District of Columbia*
- Represented a bank in purported class action litigation in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York relating to an alleged conspiracy to manipulate the Australian bank bill swap rate*
- Represented a healthcare and pharmaceuticals company and certain individuals in shareholder derivative litigation in the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois*
