Dr. Matthias Kampshoff advises companies, board members, shareholders, investors as well as bankruptcy administrators, and creditors on all corporate and bankruptcy-law-related issues. He focuses on restructuring companies that are experiencing crises and bankruptcy situations and, in particular, on guiding companies in their debtor-in-possession proceedings (Eigenverwaltung). He regularly advises in national and international (distressed) merger and acquisition transactions. Recently, he advised in various projects, inter alia, with respect to the following industry sectors: retail, automotive, media, and information technology (IT).

Matthias serves as managing partner of McDermott’s German offices.
