Overview
Sam Shin focuses his practice on structured finance, with an emphasis on collateralized loan obligations (CLOs) and warehouse financing transactions across both middle-market and broadly syndicated loan CLO platforms. He represents collateral managers, issuers, underwriters, placement agents, and investors in the structuring, issuance, and ongoing operation of CLOs, as well as in related asset-backed and structured credit transactions.
Sam also counsels CLO managers on deal execution, regulatory matters, portfolio management issues, and ongoing compliance. His experience includes advising on private offerings of CLO securities and representing market participants in the purchase and sale of financial assets.
