Overview
Haley M. Dow focuses her practice on employee benefits and executive compensation matters. She reviews qualified retirement plans, cafeteria and welfare plans, and executive compensation and employment agreements to ensure conformity with the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA), Section 409A, the Affordable Care Act, and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA).
Haley assists clients in drafting employee benefit plan documents and amendments, including 401(k), 403(b), pension, executive compensation, and cafeteria and welfare plans. She also assists with various benefits issues relating to plan qualification, ERISA administrative claims and appeals, and ERISA implications in corporate transactions.
While in law school, Haley served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Mary K. Rochford of the First District Illinois Appellate Court, Fifth Division. She was also staff editor of the Notre Dame Journal of Law, Ethics & Public Policy.
