On May 11, 2018, David L. Taub, Alexandra C. Scheibe, Paul M.G. Helms and Joseph B. Evans, presented at a firm-wide litigation group training program titled Blockchain and Virtual Currency: Insights for Litigators. The panel gave a brief description of the underlying technology. The panel also went on to discuss the various regulatory bodies that have been seeking to regulate virtual currency, developments in government regulation, and certain enforcement actions that have been brought against virtual currency companies. Lastly, the panel discussed the various class actions and other commercial litigation across the country involving blockchain and virtual currency.
