In this workshop James H. Cundiff and Elise J. McGee demystify the world of NFTs to help estate planning professionals and accountants understand how to approach these digital assets.

The panelists will provide a legal overview of NFTs, including a description of how NFTs work and who facilitates them. Attendees will better understand differences between NFT markets and other Blockchain markets, as well as differences between NFTs and other types of digital assets. Finally, the program will consider issues relating to holding and planning with NFTs, such as investing in NFTs, duplication of NFTs, taxation and regulatory issues relevant to NFTs, as well as valuation and gift considerations.
