This panel discussion (hosted over Zoom) focused on what plans should do now in response to the Employee Benefits Security Administration’s (EBSA) Missing Participant Guidance.

With enforcement actions totaling billions of dollars, EBSA’s work on behalf of terminated vested participants continues to gain steam. New guidance issued by EBSA in January 2021 describes the agency’s compliance expectations in this challenging area. Our panel of experts discussed what plan sponsors, administrators and record keepers should do now about missing participants.
