Major cuts to IRS personnel and other policies of the Trump administration have resulted in a new environment at the IRS. At the same time, significant cases are making their way through the courts. The current environment has created opportunities and challenges for taxpayers under audit or embroiled in disputes with the IRS. This session explored the latest trends and offered best practices for successfully navigating IRS audits and disputes in this ever-changing environment.
