McDermott Will & Emery has advised MML Capital on its investment in LV Overseas, a leading French freight forwarder.

Founded in 1932 by Leon Vincent and currently employing over 500 persons, LV Overseas is family-owned company which acts as a planner, service provider, freight forwarder and customs agent for all multimodal transport. The company has diversified from its long-established French overseas focus. It provides logistic services to a wide range of clients – with around 7,000 clients on their roster. The group is also committed to strengthening its CSR policy.

The investment is designed to broaden MML Capital’s platform of entrepreneurs, and to support LV Overseas in the next stage of its development – most notably to pursue organic growth in France and internationally.
