Frankfurt, October 11, 2021 – McDermott Will & Emery has advised Luxembourg-based asset and investment specialist REInvest Asset Management S.A. on the acquisition of the public authority building “Ringbahnstraße 132” in Berlin. The seller is Paribus Immobilien Assetmanagement GmbH.
The building “Ringbahnstraße 132” is leased to BIM Berliner Immobilienmanagement GmbH for 35 years. After completion of the revitalization works, the Berlin State Criminal Investigation Office (“LKA Berlin”) will move into the building with the anti-terror center of Berlin police.
The landmarked brick building of the former Reichspostzentralamt in Berlin-Tempelhof, constructed in the 1920s, comprises a total rental space of around 26,000 square meters.
