International law firm McDermott Will & Emery is pleased to announce Jenny Lee has joined its Litigation Practice Group as a partner based in New York. Jenny brings a wealth of experience in high-stakes commercial litigation, including in healthcare-related disputes, further enhancing McDermott’s power alley health and life sciences footprint. Jenny joins from Kirkland & Ellis.
“Jenny is a highly skilled litigator with a proven track record of success in complex commercial disputes,” said Josh Simon, global head of McDermott’s Litigation Practice Group. “Having worked closely with her in the past, I know firsthand the caliber of Jenny’s advocacy and her ability to navigate high-pressure matters with precision and poise. Her arrival is a strategic win for our clients and our team, particularly in New York, as we continue to expand our healthcare litigation capabilities.”
Jenny represents clients in complex securities, antitrust, and contract litigation, including high-profile matters involving major healthcare and life sciences companies. She frequently counsels top-level executive teams, in-house legal counsel, boards of directors, and investment professionals in high-stakes legal and operational challenges.
“I’m thrilled to be joining McDermott at such an exciting time of growth,” said Jenny. “The Firm’s unmatched strength in healthcare and its collaborative, entrepreneurial culture make it the ideal platform for the next chapter of my practice. I look forward to working alongside Josh, Warren, and the broader team to deliver outstanding results for our clients.”
Jenny’s arrival follows the recent additions of Meg Gibson and Craig Garvey to McDermott’s Transactions Practice Group, as well as the successful transitions of global Litigation Practice Group leader Josh Simon, global co-head of Finance Stephanie McCann, and litigation partners Warren Haskel and Dmitriy Tishyevich from Kirkland.
