Overview
Mariafiore Miniussi focuses her practice on dispute resolution, advising and representing private clients and public entities on complex disputes, international arbitration and cross-border litigation proceedings. She has acted in arbitrations held under a variety of arbitral rules including those of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL), the Milan Chamber of Arbitration (CAM) and the Swiss Chambers’ Arbitration Institution (SCAI). She has also acted as secretary to arbitral tribunals.
Her major fields of practice include energy, construction and engineering and post M&A disputes.
Earlier in her career, Mariafiore gained experience in both boutique arbitration firms as well as US-based global law firms.

- Representing an Italian multinational contractor and its Russian subsidiary as claimants and counterclaim respondents in ICC arbitration proceedings seated in London under English and Russian law arising out of contracts for the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of a fertilizer plant in Russia
- Representing the Dutch affiliate of an Italian multinational contractor as claimant in ICC arbitration proceedings seated in Italy under Italian law arising out of a contract for the procurement of equipment and technology to be employed in a plant for the production of urea
- Representing an Italian contractor as claimant in ICC arbitration proceedings seated in Geneva under Swiss law arising out of a subcontract for the performance of works in the construction of a vacuum gas oil hydrotreatment unit in a refinery in France
- Represented an Italian construction company in ICC arbitration proceedings seated in London relating to a dispute arising out of alleged breaches of an EPC contract governed by English law*
- Represented the Russian affiliate of an Italian multinational corporation as claimant in ICC arbitration proceedings seated in London under English law arising out of a partnership agreement for the implementation of a design, engineering and construction of a fertilizer plant in Russia and in antisuit injunction proceedings in the English court*
- Represented an Italian multinational contractor and its Russian subsidiary as claimants in ICC arbitration proceedings seated in London under English law arising out of a subcontract agreement for the performance of offshore works for the construction of a fertilizer plant in Russia and in antisuit injunction proceedings in the English court*
- Representing a Germany multinational energy group as claimant in ICC arbitration proceedings seated in London under Italian law in an energy post M&A dispute*
- Representing an Italian company in the yachting industry as claimant in ICC arbitration proceedings seated in Paris under Italian law arising under a distribution contract*
