Overview
Düsseldorf, November 10, 2020 – McDermott Will & Emery advised NRW.BANK on the acquisition of the office building at Kavalleriestraße 22 in Düsseldorf – the bank’s headquarters in the state capital – where it is currently the sole tenant.
The three-part office complex [with a gross floor area of 23,000 m²] consists of a 14-storey high-rise, a seven-storey building and a conference pavilion. The property is in close proximity to the government district. The project designed by RKW Architektur also includes an underground car park with 380 spaces.
NRW.BANK is the development bank for North Rhine-Westphalia.
McDermott advised the bank on a property law matter for the first time on this project. The contact came through the head of the practice group, Dr. Jens Ortmanns.
