A working group of the Coalition Parties agreed, on a minimum number of women in the boards of directors of publicly listed companies.
A corresponding government decision is expected on 6 January following the departmental vote and the participation of the Länder and associations.
The legislative process is therefore only just beginning, but the first details have already been announced.
