Preparing for and Dealing with a DOL Voluntary Compliance Letter

Each speaker will play a role (DOL investigator, a company internal ESOP trustee, and his attorney) in the following situation:
As part of an ongoing DOL investigation, in which documents have been produced to the DOL and the DOL investigator has interviewed the internal trustee, the DOL has just issued a Voluntary Compliance (VC) Letter. Using a sample VC Letter, the internal trustee and his attorney discuss each paragraph, what it means, what the DOL is seeking, and how to negotiate with the DOL. They then negotiate with the DOL investigator.
