McDermott Will & Emery has advised all Arkolia shareholders on the sale of a majority stake to a consortium composed of Mirova and BNP Paribas Asset Management.

Arkolia is a French company and a major player in the renewable energies sector. Mirova Energy Transition Fund 6 and (MET6)1 and BNP Paribas Low Carbon Transition Infra Equity Fund I have committed to invest in the company’s growth alongside Arkolia co-founder and Chairman Jean-Sébastien Bessière, who will remain a shareholder.

The transaction is pending on regulatory approvals, which are expected to be completed in the first half of 2025.
