Overview
Hafsa Tout focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation, including real estate disputes, consumer privacy, and class action defense. She is experienced in fact development, discovery disputes, managing subpoena compliance, witness and expert preparation, motion practice, and all phases of trial preparation. Hafsa represents clients across industries including real estate, healthcare, consumer products, media and entertainment, and retail and hospitality.
In her active pro bono practice, Hafsa has secured motions to dismiss for low-income tenants in eviction defense and defended clients facing deportation in immigration proceedings. She has also assisted long-term prisoners in applications for probation and counseled clients on claims made under Section 1983.
