Overview
Chris Marshall advises domestic and international corporations and private equity sponsors on transactional matters, including leveraged buyouts, add-on acquisitions, growth capital investments and management incentive plans. He has significant experience working on cross border transactions involving multiple jurisdictions across many different sectors, with a particular focus on transactions in healthcare, technology and life sciences. Chris advises clients on a range of corporate matters including acquisitions and disposals, corporate restructuring, joint ventures, corporate governance and shareholder agreements. He has experience in a variety of different industries and his clients have included large corporates, SME’s and high net worth individuals.
Chris joins McDermott from a highly regarded transactions team in a leading UK law firm based in Manchester.

- Advised a nationwide property developer on the sales of several care home businesses to a leading care home operator
- Acted for sellers of IT managed services and technical consultancy business to an AIM listed buyer
- Acted for the management team on an MBO of an Independent Financial Advisory company
- Advised a sporting National Governing Body on corporate governance changes required following a Sport England audit and attended the organisation’s AGM to present the constitutional changes to members
