Munich / London, February 17, 2026 — With a cross-border team led by Holger Ebersberger, Jason Zemmel and Mark Fine McDermott Will & Schulte has represented funds advised by NORD Holding on the acquisition and the financing of the acquisition of Hallmarq Veterinary Imaging.
Through the acquisition of Hallmarq Veterinary Imaging, funds advised by NORD Holding are shaping together with the existing portfolio company, OR Technology, a globally active imaging technology holding.
With more than 200 employees across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and North America, the newly formed group combines complementary technologies, strong brands, and deep expertise across a broad range of imaging modalities. Hallmarq contributes its leading capabilities in the development of advanced MRI and CT solutions specifically designed for veterinary applications. OR Technology complements this with its established portfolio of digital X-ray systems, ultrasound solutions, and powerful imaging software, including AI-supported diagnostics for companion animals and equine patients.
Funds advised by NORD Holding continue to support the long-term growth strategy of the group. The focus is on sustainable value creation, international expansion and continued investment in the field of medical technology and people. NORD Holding is a private equity and asset management company with approximately €4 billion in assets under management.
McDermott has previously advised NORD Holding on various transactions, including on the acquisition of OR Technology.
